Carter with his mom and sister on the balcony of his dorm which appropriately is in the shape of a pineapple like the building in the background. He really lucked out as the whole dorm has just been remodeled and he has a view of Diamondhead from his room!

Just about everything in the life of a student revolves around the ID card we realized. You can't even get a meal without it.

Fortunately we got Carter settled into the U of HI in short order. All of us then proceeded from Oahu to Kauai to visit Patti's sister and her family. This is the view from her back porch this morning, complete with an orchestra of birds singing.
